Building Anti-Corruption Awareness through the Reading on Hebrews 13:5-6: An Ethical Measure

Abstract


This research focuses on the problem of corruption that occurs in every country so that corruption is an unethical act among the community, even more so as Christians who are involved in corrupt practices. Therefore, the researcher wants to try to provide some solutions about awareness to build anti-corruption so that we can have principles as Christians that are ethical and theological. The principle that the author gives by trying to see the meaning of Hebrews 13:5-6. The method approach used in this study is literature related to the topic of the problem. From the results of this research, a solution is that as Christians who have Christian values, they will avoid corrupt behavior. To have anti-corruption awareness, we must have the Hebrew principle 13:5-6 as an anti-corruption action. This research will offer a principle of education that will be centered on God which is the basis of ethical action to be aware of anti-corruption and not to behave corruptly
