Dimensi Teologi Kovenan dalam Efesus 1:3: Kontribusinya terhadap Identitas dan Kehidupan Rohani Jemaat

Abstract


This paper will examine the dimensions of covenant theology in Ephesians 1:3 and its contribution to the identity and spiritual life of the church. Covenant theology frames the relationship between God and humans through covenants that are interwoven throughout the biblical story. The covenant consists of the covenant of work, the covenant of grace, and the covenant of redemption. On the one hand, Ephesians 1:3 frames praise to God for all the spiritual blessings that believers receive in Jesus. Ephesians 1:3 can be considered from a covenantal perspective. The intersection can be found through the work of the cross of Jesus Christ, which led believers to receive these spiritual blessings. Through a qualitative approach, the author will explore the covenant dimension in Ephesians 1:3 and how it contributes to the identity and spiritual life of the church. The author states that Ephesians 1:3 in the covenant dimension contributes significantly to the stability of the identity and spiritual life of the church. This paper provides a new perspective on integrating covenant theology in Ephesians 1:3 as a framework for building the spiritual identity and spiritual life of the church.

 

 

Abstrak

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri dimensi teologi kovenan dalam Efesus 1:3 dan kontribusinya terhadap identitas dan kehidupan rohani jemaat. Teologi kovenan membingkai hubungan antara Allah dengan manusia melalui kovenan yang terjalin di sepanjang kisah Alkibat. Kovenan tersebut terdiri dari kovenan kerja, kovenan anugerah, dan kovenan penebusan. Di satu sisi, Efesus 1:3 membingkai pujian kepada Allah atas segala berkat rohani yang diterima orang percaya di dalam Yesus. Efesus 1:3 dapat diperhatikan melalui perspektif kovenan. Persinggungan tersebut dapat ditemukan melalui karya salib Yesus Kristus yang membawa orang percaya menerima berkat rohani tersebut. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penulis akan menelusuri dimensi kovenan dalam Efesus 1:3 dan bagaimana kontribusinya terhadap identitas dan kehidupan rohani jemaat. Penulis menyatakan bahwa Efesus 1:3 dalam dimensi kovenan memberikan kontribusi yang besar terhadap kemantapan identitas dan kehidupan rohani jemaat. Tulisan ini memberikan sebuah perspektif baru dalam mengintegrasikan teologi kovenan dalam Efesus 1:3 sebagai kerangka untuk membangun identitas spiritual dan kehidupan rohani jemaat.
